Practical Placement Disclosure
Biba Academy does not require students enrolled in Skills First-funded programs to undertake a practical placement as part of their course. All training and assessment are delivered in a simulated or real workplace environment within Biba Academy’s facilities, ensuring students achieve the required vocational competencies without the need for external placement. Where a course may include optional industry experience or work-based learning activities, this will be clearly communicated to students prior to enrolment and is not a mandatory requirement for course completion.
By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready to work at a professional level with real client experience behind you.
Around 80% of your training is hands-on, working with real clients in a simulated salon environment. The remaining 20% focuses on theory, delivered through live demonstrations and guided learning to strengthen your technical foundation.
You’ll be supported by experienced educators who understand what Australian salons expect and who take the time to guide you as you build both skill and confidence.
This course is delivered as a full-time program in line with student visa requirements
